Fish meal type:

1. Defatted steam fish meal: The production process of defatted fish meal is to process raw fish through a series of processes such as cooking, pressing, solid-liquid separation, oil-water separation, drying, cooling, screening, crushing, etc. The fishmeal protein produced is 62% - 70%, VBN is generally ≤ 120, acid value is generally between 2-7, pepsin digestibility is 90% - 97%, and salt content is between 1-3.

2. Half-degreased fish meal: The production process of semi-skimmed fish meal is
basically the same as that of skimmed fish meal, which is through cooking, pressing, oil-water separation, primary drying, secondary drying, etc. The difference is that after oil-water separation, semi-skimmed fish meal will spray the separated water (containing salt, impurities, fat and fine fish meal particles) back into the primary drying tank, and then mix it with fish meal for drying, which will increase the yield of fish meal, It reduces the loss of muscle tissue caused by the small fish body and the decay of the flesh of the stale fish.

3. Whole fat fish meal: The production process of full-fat fish meal is that after the fish is cooked in the digester, the fish meat and water directly enter the dryer for drying, without pressing, and the water and cooked fish directly enter the drying tank. Because semi-skimmed fish meal and full-fat fish meal have low requirements on the freshness of raw fish, the oil content of fish will be small, and the fat content is relatively high compared with the skimmed fish meal.The produced fish meal is very thin, and the protein content is between 55% and 62%. The VBN is generally between 200 and 500, the acid value is relatively high, the pepsin digestibility is between 80 and 90, and the salt content is also relatively high, which is very different from the skimmed fish meal in odor, Therefore, the quality of semi-skimmed fish meal is worse.
