Research Director

Xindu Geng , male, professor, is currently the director of the Institute of Modern Separation Science, Northwest University. In 1986, he was exceptionally promoted to a professor, and in 1990, he was approved as a doctoral supervisor by the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council. He has been employed as a visiting professor at the University of Minnesota, Purdue University, and Department of Chemistry Creighton University in the United States for four times. In 1991, he was awarded the title of "National Advanced Scientific and Technological Worker in Colleges and Universities" and "National Young and Middle-aged Experts with Outstanding Contributions" by the State Education Commission, the Science and Technology Commission and the Ministry of Personnel. In 1992, he was awarded the title of "Model Worker of Shaanxi Province". Since 1991, he has enjoyed the national government subsidy. In 1991, he was interviewed by the party and state leaders headed by Jiang Zemin as a returnee with outstanding contributions. He is currently the executive director of the Chinese Society of Chromatography, the deputy editor-in-chief of "Chromatography", the Asian editor of the international "Biomedical Chromatography", and the editorial board member of "Separation Science". In the early 1980s, the applicant was engaged in liquid chromatography protein separation research in the United States. He was one of the earliest researchers engaged in this field in the world. After returning to China in 1984, he established the first separation science research institute in my country, specializing in Research on new theories, new methods, new separation media and new processes for the separation of biomacromolecules. The academic team led by him has created 5 research fields in the world:

(1) When he was a visiting professor at Purdue University in the United States from 1981 to 1984, he cooperated with Professor Fred E Regnier and proposed the quantitative displacement of protein in reversed-phase liquid chromatography Retained the model, and developed it into a systematic and complete measurement replacement theory after returning to China;

(2) In 1990, the applicant proposed the theoretical framework of modern separation science and wrote a monograph "Guide to Modern Separation Science Theory", (Higher Education Publishing House, August 2001, Beijing) was recommended by the Postgraduate Office of the Ministry of Education as the first batch of teaching materials for graduate students in China and was printed several times;

(3) In 1991, "Protein Folding Liquid Chromatography" was proposed. In September 2006 In September, the monograph "Protein Folding Liquid Chromatography" was published by Science Press, Beijing. It has also been collected as a chapter this year in the book "Methods in Molecular Biology-Heterological Gene Expreission in E coli", co-edited by T. Evans. Jr, M.Q. Xu, Humana Press, 2011, p. 69.;

( 4) In 2001, the cell membrane chromatography method was proposed for the first time in the world;

(5) In 2009, the "online single-column two-dimensional liquid chromatography protein rapid analysis method" was first proposed; 'The stasis-delay bivariate theory of retention'. In recent years, he has been doing industrial research and development of antibody drugs.

He has also been specially invited to give conference reports at international academic conferences and summit forums. He gave a report entitled "A universal platform for protein purification by liquid chromatography" at "The Processing Summit" held in Boston on August 13-17, 2018. He has published more than 300 scientific and technological papers, nearly 120 of which have been included in SCI, 4 appraisal results, 6 technical reports, more than 10 national and domestic invention patents, and 5 international invention patents. The research results have won the National Science Conference Award once, the National Invention Award once, the National Invention Award once, the Ministry of Education Science and Technology Award once, the Second Prize once, the Shaanxi Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award four times, and the Pittsburgh International Tenth Invention and Gold Medal in New Technology Exposition once. "Lifetime Chemistry Achievement Award", China Chromatography Contribution Award, "China Biomedical Chromatography Lifetime Chromatography Contribution Award" awarded by the International Biographical Society.

Principal Investigator

Jianping Zhao,Male, professor, currently director of Xi'an Haoze New Materials Research Institute. Joined Xi'an Haoze in 2018, established the first R&D center of Haoze team in the same year, led the joint team of Haoze team and Northwest University to South Africa, discovered Fadogia Agrestis, a new aphrodisiac material, and published the document 《Microscopic characterization and HPTLC  in the same year of the leaves, stems and roots of Fadogia agrestis – an African folk medicinal plant》. And in 2021, it created the mass production process of Fadogia Agrestis, officially marking that Xi'an Haoze has complete independent R&D and innovation capabilities.

On the road of research and development, Jianping Zhao Xi'an Haoze team has been working hard, and developed and innovated together with Northwest University Haoze scientific research team and Jiangxi Agricultural University Haoze scientific research team, so that Xi'an Haoze has mastered the world's first-class plant active ingredient extraction Technology (supercritical extraction method, countercurrent extraction method), world-class product drying method (vacuum drying, freeze drying). It also makes the Haoze team grow rapidly in terms of extracts and active ingredient monomers (including pharmaceutical intermediates).

In addition, he was awarded the Wang Baoren Award for Basic Polymer Research of the Chinese Chemical Society in 1999, the Polymer Science Innovation Award of the Chinese Chemical Society in 2001, the Creation Award of Organic Synthesis Chemistry (Organic Synthesis Outstanding Youth Award) in 2004, and the China The Chemical Society Polymer Science Innovation Award, won the Liang Shuquan Award for Basic Research in Analytical Chemistry from the Chinese Chemical Society in 2012, the Wang Baoren Award for Basic Polymer Research in 2017, and the Shaanxi Science and Technology Progress Award in 2019.
