Plant Extract
Since 2014, Xi'an Haoze Biotechnology Co., Ltd. (Haoze Bio) has manufactured and exported plant extracts, fruit and vegetable powders, matcha and ube powders, functional mushroom and moringa powders, natural plant colourants, alongside OEM/ODM contract manufacturing.
Raw material is sourced at origin and processed in our own plants: a 20,000 sqm main plant in Changchun (Jilin), two plants in Zhouzhi and Baoji (Shaanxi) and a 2,000 sqm clean workshop, with lines for extraction, concentration, spray drying, freeze drying, vacuum drying, fine grinding and blending.
In-house laboratory, COA with every shipment
UV, HPLC and TLC testing runs on site, so assay and contaminant results are recorded against the batch number that produced them and issued as a certificate of analysis with each order.
OEM / ODM from sample to annual contract
Custom formulas, private label and packing across powder, capsule, gummy and liquid formats, in tins, bags, pouches, bottles and stick packs, from a 10 to 20 g sample through to full container volumes.

A plant extract is produced by drawing soluble constituents out of dried or fresh plant material with water or ethanol, then concentrating the liquid and drying it into a powder. Four parameters define the result: the species and plant part used, the extraction solvent, the extraction ratio or named active marker, and the assay method that measures it.
Two powders carrying the same name can differ on all four, which is why price across this category ranges widely. Below is how each one is handled.

01
Process held in one place
Extraction, drying, grinding and grading are carried out in our own plants, so a batch can be traced to the line that ran it. A retained sample and the full test record are kept against every batch number.
02
Specification issued with the quotation
Botanical name, plant part, production region, solvent, carrier, mesh, packing options and a 24 month shelf life are documented before any sample is booked, so an offer can be reviewed line by line.
03
Development and production under one roof
Custom formulation, private label and packing are handled as a single scope across 5,000+ OEM/ODM projects, moving from a 10 to 20 g sample to 20 to 25 kg cartons, full container and annual contract volumes.
04
Testing data that travels with the goods
Assay and contaminant work is done in the in-house UV, HPLC and TLC laboratory, and a COA covering heavy metals, pesticide residues and microbiological parameters is issued with each shipment.
Production Line and In-House Laboratory
Every grade on this page is defined by test work carried out in our own laboratory, from the incoming material to the released batch.
Test results are available for review, so a grade can be assessed against the same records that were applied at each stage.
Incoming material graded at intake
Raw material from our own cultivation bases and from named growing regions is checked on moisture, foreign matter and defect rate. Each intake is recorded against a batch number and tied to its region and harvest window.
In-process testing along the line
Extraction, concentration, drying and grinding run in our own plants. Mesh, moisture, colour and solubility are checked at process stage, and UV, HPLC and TLC work is carried out in-house rather than sent out.
Released batch, retained sample
A batch is released only after assay, heavy metals, pesticide residues and microbiological limits are met. A physical sample of that batch and its full test record stay on file, so an earlier order can be compared with a later one.

Order Size and Packing
Trial quantity
A free 10–20 g sample, or 1 kg of bulk powder, allows a grade to be tested against an in-house method before a purchase order is placed.
Regular supply
25 kg cartons are the standard supply format, and the specification and document set match those issued at trial quantity. Colour behaviour under heat load and pH is stated for each grade.

Private label
Private label orders start at 100 units for tins, bags and bottles, and 500–1,000 units for capsules, gummies and pods. Filling and packing are carried out on the same site as the material.
Container and contract volume
Full container loads and annual contracts are supported by an annual capacity of 2,000+ tons, and a retained sample is held for every batch number.

Certificates Held by the Company
ISO 9001, ISO 22000, HACCP, FSSC 22000 and GMP cover the production system. USDA Organic and EU Organic apply to the certified product lines only. Halal and Kosher certificates are available, and the facility is FDA registered and third-party audited.

SDS / MSDS
Packing and shelf-life
Certificate of analysis
Issued per released batch: assay, heavy metals, pesticide residues and microbiological results against stated limits, carrying the batch number.
Specification sheet
Issued with the quotation and before sampling, so that an actual specification can be reviewed instead of a generic product description.
SDS / MSDS
Provided for handling, storage and transport review before a shipment is arranged.
Packing and shelf-life
A 24-month shelf life applies to the dry powder lines. Tin, bag, pouch, bottle and stick-pack formats are available, and the material and barrier of each are stated on the specification.
Documentation Available for Verification
Sample pages of the documents that accompany each order, together with the certificate categories held by the company. Current certificate numbers and validity dates are provided on request.

Questions Asked Before Sampling
Questions commonly raised before a first order of botanical powder or plant extract are answered here in advance.
Q1: What is the minimum order quantity?
A:1 kg is the minimum for bulk powder, which allows a grade to be evaluated before a purchase order is placed. Regular supply is shipped in 25 kg cartons. Private label work starts at 100 units for tins, bags and bottles and 500–1,000 units for capsules, gummies and pods, with 10,000 units for pods at full production scale. Full container and annual contract volumes are available on request.
Q2: Can I sample before ordering, and how long does it take?
A:Yes. A 10–20 g sample is provided free of charge, with a transit time of 7–10 days. The specification sheet and a representative COA are issued with the quotation, before the sample is dispatched, so that the grade can be assessed against an in-house method in advance.
Q3: What shelf life and storage do the powders need?
A:24 months applies to the dry powder lines, stored sealed, cool, dry and away from direct light. The stated shelf life is linked to the packing format supplied, and the packing material and barrier are therefore named on the specification sheet rather than selected at the time of shipment.
Q4: Which packing formats are available?
A:Tins, bags, pouches, bottles, capsules, gummies, pods and stick packs are available. Bulk powder is shipped in 25 kg cartons. Private label packing is carried out on the same line as the material, so that formulation, filling and packing remain under a single scope.
Q5: How do I verify batch-to-batch consistency?
A:Every released batch carries a COA bearing its own batch number, and a retained sample plus the full test record are held against that number. Extraction, drying, grinding and grading all run in our own plants, so a batch is traceable to the line that produced it and results can be compared across consecutive orders.
Q6: Which extraction solvents are used?
A:Water, ethanol, or a water-ethanol blend. The solvent used for the quoted grade is stated on the specification sheet together with its residual solvent status, so that it can be checked against the requirements of the destination market before an order is placed.

Request a Specification and a Sample
Enquiries that state the grade, mesh, solvent, packing format and expected quantity receive a specification sheet and a representative COA before any sample is dispatched. The same document set accompanies the resulting order.
