The main active ingredients are lignan compounds, including Deoxyschizandrin, γ-Schizandrin, Schizandrin, Aomisin, Pseudo-r-Schizandrin, Schisantherin A, etc. In addition, it also contains a variety of volatile oils such as pinene and organic acid compounds such as citric acid, malic acid, and tartaric acid.Schisandra chinensis, also known as five flavors, northern schisandra, and mountain schisandra, is a plant under the genus Schisandrae Chinensis of the Schisandraceae family. It is distributed in Heilongjiang, Jilin, Liaoning, Inner Mongolia, Hebei, Shanxi, Ningxia, Gansu, Shandong and other places.
