1.Production introduction

Fadogia Agrestis Extract comes from Fadogia Agrestis, it is a medicinal plant distributed from west tropical Africa to South Sudan. It is a dwarf shrub of up to 30 cm tall with woody stems and rootstocks. It has been reported to be used in the folk medicine of Africa as a diuretic and aphrodisiac as well as for the treatment for fever, kidney pain, diarrhea, stomach ache, blennorrhoea and toothache. The rhizome of Fadogia Agrestis is mainly composed of alkaloids and saponins, and contains a small amount of anthraquinone and flavonoids. Fadogia Agrestis rhizome extract, yellow brown powder, is mainly used for male health products.

According to our research on two groups of Fadogia Agrestis in the report, we found that their active ingredients (flavonoids) are mainly distributed in the leaves and leafy stems, and the distribution of phenols in the entire plant of Fadogia Agrestis is also relatively uniform, but in the actual production and extraction , the yield of using stems and roots will be relatively small, because its flavonoid content does not meet the requirements of the expected effect, and to purify it will only increase the production cost.
