Cajeput oil comes from the volatile oil distilled from the leaves or branches of Melaleuca leuca of myrtle family. It is native to Asia, Australia and the Pacific. The Latin plant name is Melaleuca leucadendron L. It is mainly used in cosmetics and medical fields. It is mainly used in the treatment of rheumatism, headache, bruises and other fields.It is the light yellow oil,and it is mainly used in food and cosmetics industry.

Function and Application

Medical field:

• Indicating rheumatic arthralgia;

• Abdominal distension and pain;

• Toothache; Headache;

• Herniac pain;

• Bruise, swelling and pain;

• Scabies. It contains a chemical called cineole, which can relieve subcutaneous pain. It is mainly used for the treatment of colds, headache, toothache, hypertension, diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis, herpes simplex, bruises, scabies, tumors, etc.
