Product Function & Application
1. Provide methyl groups as methyl donors. Efficient methyl donors can partially replace methionine and choline chloride, reducing feed costs.
2. Participate in fat metabolism and promote protein synthesis. Adding betaine hydrochloride to pig feed can increase eye muscle area, reduce average backfat thickness, improve lean meat percentage and carcass quality. Adding to chicken feed can improve the carcass quality and breast muscle mass of broilers, reduce abdominal muscle deposition, and lower the feed to meat ratio.
3. Has food inducing activity. Betaine hydrochloride is a quaternary ammonium alkaloid that can stimulate the sense of smell and taste of animals, promote feeding, improve the palatability and utilization of feed, increase feed intake and daily weight gain. It is the main attractant component of feed. It has a strong attraction to the smell of fish.
4. A buffer substance for osmotic pressure fluctuations. When osmotic pressure undergoes a drastic change, betaine hydrochloride can effectively prevent cell water loss, improve the function of NA/K pump, enhance the tolerance of objects to water deficiency, high temperature, high salt and high osmotic environments, stabilize enzyme activity and the function of biomolecules, thereby regulating the ion balance of water in animal intestines, maintaining intestinal function, and slowing down the occurrence of diarrhea. Meanwhile, betaine hydrochloride can also improve the survival rate of seedlings, especially juvenile shrimp and fish fry.
5. It has a synergistic effect with anti coccidian drugs to improve therapeutic efficacy. The combination of anti coccidian drugs and betaine hydrochloride can buffer changes in ion balance, thereby improving nutrient absorption rate and promoting poultry growth.
6. Protect vitamins. Betaine hydrochloride does not damage vitamins in feed, and it has a certain protective effect on the stability of VA and VB in premixes and concentrates, improving the effectiveness of use.
7. Pharmaceutical industry raw materials for preventing liver disease.
8. It can be used for gastric acid deficiency, atherosclerosis and liver diseases. Can increase fat metabolism and inhibit fat deposition in the liver.
9. It is an important raw material for the veterinary drug Tylosin.
