Application:
Food use: Hazelnut oil is a popular addition to cookies, cakes, and other baked goods. It also adds rich, nutty flavor to sauces and salad dressings, but it’s usually combined with more mildly-flavored oils so as not to overpower the other flavors in the dish.
Cosmetic use: Hazelnut Oil also contains Vitamin A, E and F, and therefore is good for anti-aging, revitalising and restoring sun-damaged skin and hair. These vitamins work individually and in unison to maintain the youthfulness of the skin preventing the formation of wrinkles and folds. Hazelnut Oil is also abundant in healthy flavonoids like Catechins and Tannins making it an extremely effective astringent. Hazelnut Oil tightens the pores of the skin and generate sebum secretion which works as an antibacterial remedy for skin issues like chapped lips, stretch marks, scars etc., apart from acne and pimples. Not only is Hazel Nut Oil moisturizing, but it also has a reputation as being a good oil for oily skin, since its natural properties help balance oils.

Like most nut oils, hazelnut oil needs to be stored in a cool place to keep it from going rancid.
