It is rich in amino acids, vitamins, trace elements, carotenoids, polyphenols, flavonoids and unsaturated fatty acids. Among them, flavonoids are the most abundant in seabuckthorn leaves, while vitamins, long-chain alcohols, esters, sterols, pentacyclic triterpenoids, volatile monoterpenes, etc. are found in high levels in seabuckthorn oil.
